http://www.archive.org/audio/audio-details-db.php?collection=kikapu&collectionid=kpu072&from=collectionSpotlight

Our largest and most ambitious release to date, "Wein, Weib und Gesang" is a focus on experimental and ambient-styled electronics, with tracks from a group of some of the most remarkable musicians around. Some of these faces are new to Kikapu, while some have previously released here a number of times.

The title is an old German saying that is loosely translated as "wine, women and songs...all you need to be happy in life." Seeing as this release clocks in at nearly five hours in length, these songs represent a collective attempt to help you, the listener, be happy in life.

Very nice, but downloading 550 megs without resuming possibility is a hard bargain. I would have liked to review this, but couldn't download it under these circumstances (I only have access to a fast line from time to time) :/

it _would_ be nice if it was broken up into 3 or 4 zips for those less fortunate. i already dl'd it though, great release.

A break-down would be highly apprieciated! As a 56ker myself I'm finding this file a little intimidating. Props to the kikapu cru & artist involved for unleashing this mammoth upon the ears of the world, can't wait to check it out!

if you find the ftp directory, you can download/resume no problem. it would be nice if archive gave you the direct address of the folder, but it only tells you ftp address. alas, after that its a needle in a haystack.

the ftp addy of this release happens to be here and you can use a regular ftp client to dl/resume as necessary
